Welcome to AdFeeder’s web Wednesdays, your weekly dose of the latest news and stories that have caught our eye. From technology news to the latest vehicle releases and everything in between, we aim to bring you a quick run down of what you need to know each week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We are into the second week of February already, and we are on the cusp of potentially the biggest week of updates from the world of motorsport, as all Formula One teams have now confirmed their 2022 livery release dates. <\/span>But before we get all excited about that, let\u2019s take a look at some other news from this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Delorean is coming back!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The DMC DeLorean looks set to be reborn as an all-electric sports car, with an updated version of the\u00a0Back to the Future<\/em>\u00a0hero to be unveiled later this year. Film quotes at the ready.<\/p>\n

A tweet from the firm that owns the rights to the DeLorean brand \u2013 the Texas-based DeLorean Motor Company \u2013 seems to confirm that a luxury-orientated, gullwing-doored EV is on the horizon\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You\u2019ll know John DeLorean\u2019s story by now, but the DeLorean Motor Company was founded by Brit Stephen Wynne in 1995 and has since offered repairs and rebuilds of original DMCs. It has made multiple attempts to bring the car back, with news of replicas being built in 2016 and even a 200bhp EV conversion all the way back in 2011. Let’s all wait and see where the future takes them, hopefully it won’t be backwards!<\/p>\n

Now this one is very close to our hearts, with nearly half of our team being female, we wanted to celebrate Women’s History Month by delving into the history of some of the most important ladies in motoring and technology. In a series of posts across our Instagram profile, and potentially a video or two, we’ll discover the story behind names like Group B rally driver Michele Mouton, cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova and former Williams F1 boss Claire Williams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

*Heavy breathing* – Gran Turismo 7 is nearly here!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

For many, it’s the game that started it all. The firs sight of a pixelated Toyota GT One or the Castrol Supra was enough to ignite the passion for motorsport, leading them into a lifetime of automotive enthusiasm. I know, because that was me. Whilst it was obvious I would be interested in cars due to my car-mad family, Gran Turismo was the game that allowed you to get behind the wheel of some of the most iconic cars.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Early reviews suggest the game is a true masterpiece, and rounds off 25 years of development very nicely indeed. Looking at it from an automotive \/ marketing perspective, it’s a hugely important game too. Advertising for this title was long and extensive, with dozens of brands creating completely bespoke concept cars that are exclusively featured in the game. Many of these concepts were kept as visual, but some have actually been made into the real thing, and that’s all down to the power of this legendary game.<\/p>\n

The game releases on March 4th 2022.<\/p>\n
